Merchandising Manager

Basic Purpose:

Implement policies and procedures in planning, monitoring, and reporting merchandise performance in order to achieve Sales/Gross Margin, and Inventory objectives of the company.

Major Responsibilities:

· Open-to-Buy (OTB) plan / Buying

o All purchases for is within the approved FY OTB

o Ensure availability of salable sizes per style especially the core items such as T-shirts and Jeans in every Retail store at any given time thus increasing the total sales contribution by the end of the fiscal year

o Enhancement of Online Product knowledge Assortment Sheet

o Ensure ample stocks of OS items

· Inventory Management

o Allocation Plan

- Ensure that monthly allocation plan of all stores are being met

o Sell-through

- Have an improved sell-through every season

o Stocks-to-Sale Ratio (SSR)

- Achieve the target SSR be the end of the FY Merchandise Disposal

o Merchandise Disposal

- Have a healthy inventory and maintained newness in the store on a monthly basis

· Manpower and Personnel Development

o Ensure that everyone has a better understanding on his/her everyday responsibilities as a merchandiser

· People Management

o Full compliance with company policies and procedures

· Budget (OPEX) Plan

o Ensures that all expenditures are within the approved FY only

Job Specifications:

Legal Counsel

Basic Purpose:

-Acts as the General Legal Counsel of GUESS Group of Companies who is at the same time the Head of the Legal Department. Gives administrative support, in-charge of corporate governance and legal risk management,as well as, handles and manages all matters of ligitation of the Companies and its affiliates.

Major Responsibilities

Legal Administrative Support

  • Extends assistance in any and all matters referred to it by various departments and companies for legal action, legal interpretation and/ or opinion;
  • Reviews and oversees all administrative process such as NTEs, Notice of Decision and other Disciplinary Actions taken by the Management of the Companies so as to ensure that its proper execution and implementation;
  • Reviews and revises contracts, agreements, applications and other legal, commercial and official documents;
  • Reviews and assists in the amendment of the Company Policy, Rules and Regulations;
  • Provides draft templates for contracts, agreements, and other legal formal papers to requesting company, employee or customer.

Corporate Governance

  • Prepares of Corporate documents such as but not limited to Secretary's Certificates, Board Resolutions, Minutes of the Meeting and other official, formal orlegal papers;
  • Files petitions for registrations and/or amendment of the Articles of Incorporation and By-laws of the Companies, General information Sheets and other mandatory reportorial requirements of Securities and Exchange Commission, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Labor and Employment, Laguna Lake Development Authority, and other government agencies;
  • Handles the renewal of permits and licenses required by the Local Government Units concerned;
  • Assists in the audit report of the Accounting Departmental and prepare the audit letters and legal confirmation, as well as, certifications as requested by external auditors.

Litigation Management

  • Acts as the General Legal Counsel of Guess Group of Companies including its affiliates;
  • Represents the Company in all cases filed before any judicial bodies and/or quasi-judicial bodies;
  • Ensures the preparation and filing of all pleadings such as complaints, answer, position papers, manifestations and motions;
  • Monitors the status of all cases of the Companies and takes appropriate actionto speed up the disposition of all cases.

Legal Risk Management

  • Takes preventive measures to minimize Company's legal exposure to litigation, complaints and orders of payment of fine and penalties;
  • Effectively disseminates legal information to increase the legal awareness of internal and external customers;
  • Issues monthly or quarterly bulletins or write-ups that discuss relevant legal issues and conduct quarterly trainings and legal counselling to employees.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Candidate must possess at least Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Law or equivalent.

At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Unified Communications, Negotiation, Deliberation

Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.

Corporate Planning Manager

Job Summary

· Lead the organization in analyzing industry conditions and conceptualize the strategic and long-term goals of the company in line with CCI mission and vision relative to the corporate environment and aids in program-formulation at the organizational and departmental levels in order to achieve these goals and objectives

Duties and Responsibilities

· Plans, directs and controls activities of the Corporate Planning Department

· Analyze trends in the industry and develop approaches that will help the organization in meeting those

· Conducts high-level research and activity to monitor market movement to ensure the formulation of competitive strategies towards achieving corporate goals and objectives

· Facilitates and spearheads strategic planning workshops and business review on a regular basis

· Facilitates the formulation of the corporate Strategic Plan

· Conducts cost-benefit analysis, measures, and provides recommendations to aid Management in their evaluation and approval of project proposals from the different departments/committees (such as IT Roadmap, CSR, etc.)

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or any related course

· With a minimum of 8 years related experience in managerial capacity in the same field

· Experience in analyzing and quantifying complex strategic issues tied to long-term business growth

· Experience in Business Forecasting, Market Planning, and adept in the use of different strategic frameworks and performance management tools (e.g. Balanced Scorecard, Strategy Planning, SWOT, PESTLE, Gap Planning, etc.)

· Preferably with work background in risk management and risk assessment

· Ability to construct and deliver clear presentations and reports

· Strong critical and analytical thinking, relationship building skills, and ability to influence people from different levels

· Ability to provide sound recommendation and capacity to exercise discretion
